JOB TITLE: Scottish Cycling - BMX Pathway Coach
CONTRACT TYPE: Part Time (Up to 30 days per year), 1 year Fixed Term
SALARY: £100 per day
LOCATION: Across Scotland
DEPARTMENT: Performance
REPORTING TO: Head of Performance and Coaching
CLOSING DATE: Monday 18th September - 12pm, with interviews conducted 28th-29th Sept

Job Purpose
This post will be central in supporting Scottish Cycling to positively impact the quantity and quality of riders progressing through Scottish Cycling’s BMX Racing pathway by supporting the development and maintenance of a performance pathway that identifies, nurtures, and develops riders who have the potential to win medals at the Olympic & Paralympic Games and major senior Championships.
You will play a pivotal role in our team, working closely with our Head of Performance and Coaching supporting the implementation of discipline specific development in line with Scottish and British Cycling’s current performance pathway programmes. The successful post holder will be a key link with partners including riders, parents, coaches, clubs, race teams and Great Britain Cycling Team.
