British Cycling Federation Eastern Region is holding its Annual General Meeting at 7.30pm on Monday 21 September 2020. Due to the current social distancing and Covid-19 pandemic the AGM will be held by virtual call.
Attendance is open to all members, should you wish to represent your club and have their voting rights, please agree this with your club/team secretary in the first instance. The confirmed club representatives with voting rights should be confirmed by email via the club secretary to secretary@bceastern.co.uk. All attendees must register their intent to attend by registering their interest on our website Eastern Region AGM Registration in order to receive the log in details to the meeting. Registration to attend must be made by 16 September, a link to access the meeting will then follow.
All papers relating to the AGM will be placed on the Eastern Region website www.bceastern.co.uk 10 days before the meeting.
The meeting will elect Officers to serve the Region for the forthcoming year, appoint two examiners of accounts and a Regional Board from nominations received all in accordance with Regional Byelaws.
In addition, the AGM will elect six National Councillor representatives (all of whom shall be Regional Council members). All elections will be by ballot at the AGM unless unopposed. A list of Eastern Board positions is shown below.
Nominations together with a CV should be received by email to the Regional Secretary: secretary@bceastern.co.uk by the 31 August 2020 including from those currently in position who wish to be considered again for the forthcoming year.

The British Cycling Eastern region are searching for a new Chair for the Regional Board. The board has representatives from all disciplines and the chair ensures communication between cyclists, clubs and the British Cycling Board and senior leadership team.
