We invite you to join us in the next edition of our monthly #SCTalks panel discussion.
Tuesday 1 June 2021 at 7.30pm – 8.30pm
This discussion kicks off our Volunteers Week celebration on Tuesday 1st June and will focus on the impact volunteers have on cycling. This year is the 37th annual Volunteers Week and we want to showcase some of the amazing opportunities there are to volunteer through cycling.
Our panel of three volunteers and an athlete will discuss areas such as how their role makes a difference and how volunteering in cycling impacts them personally. These are Colin Chisholm, commissaire, event organiser and coach, Lizzie Miller joint organiser of the Midsummer Breeze Sportive and athlete Lusia Steele, Scottish track sprinter and past Volunteers Week interviewee!
This session is for anyone who wants to hear about the different roles that you can get involved with such as coaching, Breeze Champions, officiating and organising events. People are also welcomed to share their experience as a volunteer or a cyclist and ask questions of the panel.
You can sign up for the webinar using the link below and e-mail any questions to events@scottishcycling.org.uk or save them for the night.
