Terms and conditions – Skyride UK Launch Competition

This prize draw is open to all UK residents, aged 16 years or over.

To take part in this prize draw you need to register online at www.goskyride.com for a Skyride in London, Manchester, Glasgow or Leicester by 23.59 hours on Friday 18th Sept 2009

Each eligible entry will be automatically entered into the prize draw. Sky does not accept responsibility for network, computer hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your registration. 

Only one entry per person and/or per email address.  Entries must not be sent in through agents or third parties. Proof of emailing is not proof of receipt. Late entries, entries missing required information, or entries which don’t comply with these rules will be disqualified.

The winner(s) will be selected at random by an independent person from all eligible entries received.

The winner(s) will be notified by email and telephone at the earliest by Sunday 20th Sept 2009 or within 7 days following this date.

There is 1 prize to be won, consisting of:

Return flights for two adults and two children to Geneva (Flights must include a Saturday night stay in France. Travel must be taken between May and September 2010 to avoid snowfall. Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of the organiser. Children must be aged 11 years or younger at the time of travel. Departure airport used will be dependent on the direct availability from the winners nearest international airport.

Fully inclusive car hire for the duration of your stay (Driver must be over the age of 25 and have held a full clean drivers licence for a minimum of 2 years. Fully inclusive refers to unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver, theft protection, local taxes and airport fees. Driver must also hold a valid credit card (not debit card) with a minimum of £500 available for security deposit, which is refundable upon safe return of the vehicle)

4 Nights accommodation at in Chamonix (Hotel is officially classed as a 3 Star. Accommodation is based on two adults and two children sharing a family room with ensuite bathroom on a bed and breakfast basis)

Breakfast for two adults and two children in the hotel restaurant each morning

3 Days Mountain bike hire including helmets for two adults and two children

Travel Insurance (Subject to normal terms of acceptance)

There is no cash alternative to the prize (or any part of it) and the prize is non-refundable and non-transferable.

The prize does not include the cost of transport to the airport or any accommodation pre flight at airport or other hotels.

If any event prize is postponed or cancelled for any reason, the prize will be valid for such other date on which the event is rescheduled. Sky reserves the right to substitute the prize (or any part of it) for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary.

Prizes may be subject to availability at the time of booking.

Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, Sky and its associated Companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from any prize that does not reach the winner, or postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prize details, beyond Sky’s control, and for any act or default of any third party supplier.  

The terms and conditions of any third party supplier will apply to the prize where applicable.

If Sky is not able to contact any winner, or any winner is not able, for whatever reason, to accept a prize, then Sky reserves the right to award the prize to another participant.

Sky’s decision is final and binding on all entrants.  No correspondence will be entered into.

Details of prize winner’s name and county will be available for one month after the close of the prize draw by contacting Nicola Casperson at Sky via email nicola.casperson@bskyb.com or phone 0207 705 3013 and stating the name and date of the prize draw.

The name, county and photograph of the winner(s) may be used by Sky and its associated Companies for post-event publicity purposes.
