Forest Of Dean Spring Classic Sportive 2010 Entries Now Open

On-line entries for May 2nd event now available
Wheels in Wheels Events Ltd, organisers of five sportives in the UK and the Duva International in Majorca, are pleased to announce that entries are open for the Forest of Dean Spring Classic and all other Wheels in Wheels 2010 events.
It may be winter now but many riders are looking forward to the warmer weather and planning their sportive calendar for 2010. Wheels in Wheels have opened on line entries for all their 2010 events and places are already going fast, especially for the Forest of Dean event on May 2nd.
As a result of the event's popularity, entries this year are strictly limited to 1000 riders, an increase from the traditional 750 which sold out before the event last year. "Since entries opened on January 1st we have seen a sharp increase in initial numbers from previous years," says event organiser Graham Temple. "With sportives becoming more popular we have noticed people are entering earlier and earlier to secure a place in their favourite event. As a result classic events like the Forest of Dean are due to sell out well before the day so we would advise entry as soon as possible to avoid disappointment."
The Forest of Dean Spring Classic sportive is now established as one of the premier events on the UK sportive calendar. Now in its fifth year, the event starts and finishes in Monmouth and takes riders on an 85 mile ride through some of the best roads the area has to offer. From 3 mile long climbs to 1 in 4 walls, a serious workout awaits and will test even the fittest of riders. The clover leaf design of the route means you are never more than 20 miles from the event village should your fitness let you down. The event village is open from Saturday and sign on is available on Saturday as well as Sunday morning.
