Following the success of the Norwich and Cambridge Cycle Swarm events, the Swarm now heads to Essex.

Chelmsford Cycle Swarm is on Sunday 13 July and has three route lengths to choose from – 30, 60 or 90 miles. It’s a great period for cycling in the region, with the Tour de France passing through Chelmsford a few days before the Swarm.

All routes start and finish at Springfield Hall Park before heading north out of Chelmsford. The routes pass some lovely towns and villages in the Essex countryside such as Shalford, Wethersfield and Finchingfield.

Cycle Swarms are fun events for people of all cycling ability, so whether you are an experienced cyclists or a beginner, there will be a route to suit you.
