Pendleton attempted to come around her opponents from the back to take the win but left herself far too much work to do in the final stages. Krupeckaite, who'd battled through the repechages took a well-deserved win.

MEN'S SCRATCH
Final | Full Result
Russian rider Ivan Kovalev won the Men's Scratch Final in a race which was pretty much whittled down to a rideoff between six riders who broke away and took a lap early on.
Chris Newton was a marked man throughout, whose numerous attempts to get away and recoup the lap lost were hunted down mercilessly by the pack.
In the end one of the 6 lap takers, Lagkuti of the Ukraine, took an early dig for home but was reeled back in by fellow breakaway rider Kovalev of Russia, who immediately launched a late attack of his own, staying away to take the Gold.

However, the plot thickened when both teams lost a man but fought on. The final twist was when Germany lost a second rider, handing Bronze to Ukraine by default.

Matt Crampton retained his JKA Keirin title in a huge performance and after a punishing three days of racing, taking the £1000 prize money. Awang led it out followed by Volikakis but neither rider could cope with Crampton's pace who crossed the line the clear winner.
7-12 Final
Not to be outdone by teammate Crampton, Jason Kenny left it late to take a classy win in the minor final, rounding off a superb performance from the British Riders.

In Heat 1 Christos Volikakis, Dave Daniell and Tomas Babek came through Heat 1 to take their places in the JKA Final. They were joined by Crampton, Perkins and Awang who took honours in Heat 2. Jason Kenny made a superb move to get himself out of the box and hit the front with 2 laps to go but was overcome by the late charging Shane Perkins. Crampton just had enough in the tank to maintain his sprint and progress to the final.
