Are you interested in getting involved in one of our major events, such as the Tour of Britain or one of our National Championships?

Experiencing a cycling event is captivating - but contributing to it with insider access will leave you with an unforgettable feeling. There is immense pride and rich personal development to be had by stepping up and joining a buzzing event team. Could you do it?

There are many different role types available at our major events, these are integral to the smooth running of the event and often the safety of the riders.

• Spectator-facing roles – these are generally based at the start or finish of a race. They would be helping in the hospitality area, helping run activations in an event village or helping to guide spectators and answer their questions.

• Race-facing roles – these are in the field of play, where the racing happens. Examples are Yellow Flag marshal, or helping with a results team.
• Event Operations/Back of House roles – these roles are essential to the smooth running of an event and while they might not be glamorous you will get to be involved in helping behind the scenes. This could be helping with accreditation, distributing kit and equipment, or helping in event control.
• Media/Content roles – this role could be helping in the media centre or helping our media team capture content.
• Protocol and ceremonies roles – these roles are helping at the conclusion of an event or race, helping the medals, jerseys or trophies be awarded. This role could be assisting with podium presentations or being an anti-doping chaperone.

We will use the expression of interest form to contact volunteers in the relevant regions and role types to gather their availability for any of our events. Please note that completing this form does not guarantee you a role at one of our events, however, we will be contacting this list before anyone else.
