Applications are now open for riders to express their interest in being part of the squad that the Great Britain Cycling Team will take to the first ever combined cycling world championships in Glasgow.
The 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships will be the first of its kind, held on home soil in Glasgow and across Scotland, with over 1,000 athletes taking part in 13 different world championship events over 11 days and over 200 coveted rainbow jerseys to be won.
The Great Britain Cycling Team will select riders to represent their country at this year’s world championships from across seven different disciplines, including track, road, BMX freestyle park, BMX racing, mountainbiking and para-cycling for road and track.
The 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships selection process can be found on the British Cycling website and includes all the entry requirements and how to apply. Only riders who meet the criteria set out in the selection policy, are invited to submit their expression of interest before midnight on Thursday 25th May 2023.
