About our club
Velo Club Londres is an inclusive cycling club based at Herne Hill Velodrome in South London. We have been riding since 1964 and our aims are to promote cycling, as a recreational activity, as a competitive sport and as a means of transport within London and the Southeast of England. We have over 500 members, many of whom take part in competitions across a variety of cycling disciplines and a full range of age groups. The club offers members an opportunity to take part in organised training sessions, group rides, trips and social events. We have a number of members who have progressed to the highest levels of the sport riding at 'World Tour' level and winning medals at British, Commonwealth, European, World and Olympic level.
