About our club
We are a friendly local cycling club based in Barnard Castle, initially with a racing background, but now covering all aspects of the sport.
Teesdale CRC was formed in 1996 by local riders, around the Teesdale Mountain Time Trial.
The club organises a regional road race, an open Time Trial, a family friendly Club TT Series and is involved in cyclo-x.
XC mountain biking has also always been part of the club activities. Hamsterley Forest is located in Teesdale, and its continued expansion gives the club a fantastic facility on our doorstep, which complements the moorland riding in the dale.
The club has Saturday morning road rides from Barnard Castle, most weekends.
Come along and join us.
