About our club
Preston Pirates BMX Club was established in 2005. The club currently has 135 active members. The club is run by a team of dedicated volunteers, and welcomes new members and volunteers.
The club can boast to having a number of talented riders within its membership, and has been regular North Region Champions since 2010 to the present day. We were the 2023 National Club Champions, and have been in 2012 & 2013. We have also been British Club Champions in 2012 & 2013.
We run regular race series in the summer & winter months, and hold regular coaching sessions every week where we encourage and develop children’s cycling talents through our club coaches.
Preston Pirates is funded by membership of Barclays Spaces For Sport, British Cycling Federation and Preston City Council, and numerous local businesses.
Our website is frequently updated with club news and upcoming events, and a facebook group is available for members to receive the latest club news etc.
