About our club
The Rotherham Wheelers Cycling has been established since 1920 and has an illustrious history. Our focus is road cycling and members regularly compete in time trials, road races, sportives and club rides across the country. Some of our members are keen cycle tourists and we normally arrange at least one club cycling holiday each year.
We have occasional social events throughout the year and always welcome new members.
N.B. Although membership of Rotherham Wheelers is open to anyone over 10 years of age, club rules stipulate that members under 18 years of age MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult on club rides or events and the responsible adult MUST themselves be a member of the club. We do not currently have any members under 18 years of age and for that reason have not appointed a club welfare officer. When and if a person under 18 years of age wishes to join the club we will appoint a welfare officer and ensure that they are trained and DBS checked.
