About our club
Team Darenth was established in 1998 as a development club between Dartford Wheelers and the West Kent Road Club. The aim was, and still is, to promote and develop skills in cycling for children and teenagers aged between from 5 and 18. Whether you want to ride just for fun, or have a go at racing, we take pride in our warm friendly atmosphere and welcome you to have a go at what you think you would like to do. As well as 6 Level 1 and 2 cycling coaches who can teach skills from balance bike up to competition standard mountain bike and cyclocross, we now have 3 Breeze champions who can lead rides, generally for ladies, so any parents out there or ladies who'd like to try their hand at cycling from beginner upwards, please get in touch.
