About our club
We are an amateur cycling club, based in Thornbury, near Bristol. We started up in February 2016 and now have over 200 subscribing members. The club aims to be as inclusive as possible and caters for, and encourages, cyclists of all ages, experience and abilities. We organise rides throughout the year. We generally run two or three "official" club rides on either a Saturday or a Sunday. These are primarily aimed at beginners and less experienced riders up to intermediate level and are very sociable, generally including a coffee/cake stop. On most Saturdays and Sundays, riders with more experience are able to find like-minded club members to join up with for an informal ride. We also run informal rides on weekdays, with group training rides on one or two weekday evenings during the summer. We co-ordinate our activities via Facebook.
