About our club
The 45 Road Club was formed or 60 years ago, and has been active ever since.
The club has a long history of racing in the region and owns a number of trophies, which are awarded for some of the races in the year; five are dedicated to 25-mile time trial events alone.
The club has always been active in bringing forward young cycling talent and encouraging cyclist of all abilities to improve their performances. Some names of note in recent years are Stuart Travis, George Fox, Trystan Barnett and others......
We have a section of senior riders who are very active in the operation of the club and still ride with great enthusiasm.
