Club Information

About our club

We're an expanding club based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. The club offers many opportunities and services to the cycling community, and Welwyn Wheelers CC members participate in all aspects of cycle sport and leisure. You'll find plenty of information here about the club and what we do. If you'd like to get involved, or just find out a little more, don't hesitate to get in touch - we'd be pleased to hear from you.

We run a summer and winter program:

Summer:

Monday
19:00-21:00 - Open track session - Gosling Sports Park (experienced track riders only)

Tuesday
19:00 first rider - Club 10 mile time trial - Cole Green

Wednesday
19:00-21:00 - Club track session - Gosling Sports Park (experienced club track riders only)
18:45 & return before dusk - Road session - leave Gosling Sports Park (riders must be self-supported, minimum age 16)

Saturday
09:00-11:00 - Track developers session - Gosling Sports Park

Winter:

Tuesday
19:00-21:00 cyclo-cross training - Gosling Sports Park

Wednesday
19:00-21:00 - Road bikes on the track & cyclo-cross training - Gosling Sports Park

Thursday
20:00-21:15 - Turbo session - Gosling Sports Park

Saturday
09:00-11:00 - Road bikes on the track youth and adult ( min 14 years)
09:00-11:00 - Road/off-road ride
09;00-12:00 - Freewheel off road Go-Ride sessions (6-14) years
