About our club

North Cotswold Cycling Club (NCCC) is a friendly club for all types of cycling enthusiasts. We focus on group rides in the scenic North Cotswold countryside. There are beautiful Cotswold villages to pass through such as Broadway, Lower Slaughter, Bourton-on-the-Water and iconic climbs such as Snowshill, Dovers Hill, and Sudeley Hill to master. It’s hard to imagine a nicer place to ride. Add the chance to socialise with like-minded people and you have got the perfect combination.

Most rides start at Cotswold Cycles, Moreton-in-Marsh www.cotswoldcycles.co.uk and on your return why not grab a coffee and cake from the Revolution Cafe www.therevolutioncafe.co.uk/

Rides are generally led by trained ride leaders who know the routes and help marshal the rides. The group rides cater for varying levels of fitness, and you are welcome to come along and try a ride before deciding whether to join the club. All you need is a road-worthy bike, a helmet and third party insurance.

Wednesday 09.00 Kingham Green ~60 miles (15-16 mph average speed)
Friday (summer) 18.15 Cotswold Cycles 30-mile chain gang with 2 x 10-mile laps (all abilities)
Saturday 09:30 Cotswold Cycles 20-40 miles Cafe Ride (14-15 mph average speed)
Saturday 10.30 Cotswold Cycles 20 miles Relaxed Introduction Ride
Sunday 09:00 Cotswold Cycles 40 miles (4 x groups with average speeds of 19; 17-18; 15-16; 13-14 mph)

JOINING NORTH COTSWOLD CYCLING CLUB
Annual membership is £10 for adults and £5 for juniors. Members must also have Third Party Legal Liability Insurance which can be obtained from various outlets. Anyone can come and join us for a ride to see if the club suits their needs. This is free and no insurance is required for the first couple of rides. Membership runs from 1st January until 31st December. If you purchase a membership after August 31st your next year's membership is included.

Benefits of membership include a 10% discount at TY Cycles, Chipping Norton (excluding bikes and labour) and access to various social events throughout the year
