About our club
Croston Cycling Club (Croston Velo) are a relatively new club formed in 2014 by a group of friends who cycled leisurely from Croston and started to invite others. We serve the whole local area including the villages Mawdesley, Parbold, Eccleston and Rufford. If you like cycling and want to meet like minded people (of all abilties) why not come along and see what we are all about.
Now into our 5th year and the club has a thriving membership which has grown year on year. We have club rides on Tuesday and Thursday evening and Sunday mornings all setting off from Croston Sports Club.
We are generally a social cycling club but a number of our members take part in Time Trialling and Road racing and we are affiliated to British Cycling, Club Time Trailing association, NLTTA and Lanns and Lake Spocco.
