About our club

We are road cycling club in the North East of England we have been growing since 2019. We are based in the Tyne & Wear/County Durham area with members from South Tyneside to the South East Durham coast.

We are a club for passionate, motivated road cyclists both male & female who ride often and either want to ride socially or competitively. We are for cyclists who want to get the most from the sport, while providing encouragement to others in a friendly but challenging and rewarding environment.

We are more suited to experienced riders who like challenging rides often long and hilly at weekends or fast shorter midweek training sessions.

We provide regular weekend social club runs, away days, tours and twice weekly midweek training rides. These rides are hard work but always very rewarding.

We also have an active racing section within the club that partake in road racing, cyclocross and competitive time trials. We are affiliated to both British Cycling and Cycling Time.

Our minimum membership age is 18 and as we are more for experienced cyclists we don't have any formal development system.

Potential new members will be invited to join us for a few rides to make sure that mutually the fit is right.

Our club kit is manufactured by Le Col and is of very good quality and as we are a commercially sponsored club we may have benefits for our members.
