With the CX season soon to be kicking off we've found the perfect place to get some early season training & technique work in! Twickenham CC are putting together a series of evening CX training & racing sessions at a fantastic location in Ham.  We have access to a large off road space including a field, single track, woodland, steps, mud etc & we'll be using as much of it as possible.  There's parking available & if you need to drive & if you want to get a few muddy miles in first you can access the site by riding along the toepath from Richmond or Kingston bridges.  Details of parking, HQ & sign on are on this Google Map. The sessions are listed on the BC website for online entry & we'd like to welcome youth & senior riders from local clubs & anyone else who wants to have a go.  Sessions will run 6-8pm on Tuesday evenings & entry is £1 for youth & £3 for adults. These will be a mix of skills & fitness with races at the end & a Go-Ride Race for youth riders in the last session. British Cycling will be supporting the sessions so we should have a few CX bikes for people to try out if they'd like to have a go.  Not sure what Cyclocross is all about? “Skinny tyres, mud, short, sharp off-road races, with hurdles, obstacles and intense action.
