Great Britain Cycling Team’s Kyle Evans and Paddy Sharrock were in superb form to take three wins at rounds seven and eight of the UEC BMX European Cup in Calais, France on Saturday.
Sharrock won both rounds of the junior men’s event as he continued his impressive form since returning from a broken collarbone while Evans won round seven and took second place in round eight.
Evans on the podium
Rio Olympian Evans, 22, finished ahead of Dutch pair Dave Van der Burg and Mitchel Schotman in the round seven final as both rounds took place on Satuday after Friday’s racing was cancelled due to rain.
He then made the main final again at round eight, finishing behind Latvia’s Richards Veide to complete a successful weekend.
Two days of racing in one day. Shattered 2 say the least but happy to take a 1st and 2nd in the mains!
