Meet the Teams

AG Insurance - Soudal

Making their race debut in 2025, the Belgian team have close links to the men’s Soudal Quick-Step team as they compete in their second season as a UCI Women’s WorldTour team. Among the squad is former Lloyds Tour of Britain Women podium finisher Ashleigh Moolman, who finished runner up to Lizzie Deignan in 2016.

Canyon//SRAM zondacrypto

The team of 2024 Tour de France Femmes winner Kasia Niewiadoma, who shot to prominence in this race back in 2017 when a memorable opening stage win set her on the way to overall victory in London. Alongside Niewiadoma the team have a host of other top names including Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig, Chiara Consonni, and British pair Alice Towers and Zoe Bäckstedt.

CERATIZIT Pro Cycling Team

The team began back in 2016 as Team WNT, making it to UCI Women’s WorldTour status in 2024. The team won the first UCI Women’s WorldTour race of the year with Dutchwoman Daniek Hengeveld taking victory in the opening stage of the Tour Down Under in January. April saw another long-haul win for the German team as Elena Hartmann won a stage and the overall of the Tour El Salvador.

CJ O'Shea Racing

A UCI team since 2021, CJ O’Shea have been long term participants on the British domestic scene, evolving from a junior club team in the south east, but now boasting one of the most varied line-ups of all the five domestic teams set to feature in the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women.

DAS - Hutchinson

DAS – Hutchinson are the most experienced British team in the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women having ridden every edition since 2021. As well as their British commitments, DAS – Hutchinson have started 2025 with a strong European campaign, racing several semi-Classics in Belgium before their first appearance at the Ronde van Vlaanderen, and a return to the Amstel Gold Race.

EF Education-Oatly

Another team making their Lloyds Tour of Britain Women debut in 2025, EF Education – Oatly will stand out in the peloton thanks to their luminous pink kit. One rider who won’t be in pink though is Olympic road race champion Kirsten Faulkner, who currently wears the stars and stripes of American national champion.

FDJ - Suez

The longstanding team have strengthened for 2025 with the signing of former Lloyds Tour of Britain Women and Tour de France Femmes winner Demi Vollering, double Queen of the Mountains winner in Britain Elise Chabbey, and Kiwi Amy Wollaston, who has three wins to her name already this year. The predominantly French line-up includes French national champion Juliette Labous, who was runner-up behind Vollering in the 2021 Lloyds Tour of Britain Women.

Handsling Alba Development Road Team

Their second appearance in the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women presents the dream opportunity for the Scottish squad to compete in two stages on home roads, where they are sure to enjoy a lot of support. Their 2025 roster retains double Olympic medalist Neah Evans – who began her cycling career in Glasgow – while new signings include former CiCLE Classic winner Eluned King and Kate Richardson, who cruelly missed her Lloyds Tour of Britain Women debut last year after being hit by a car in training before the race.

Hess Cycling Team

British duo Grace Lister and Alice McWilliam remain from the teams debut line-up 12 months ago, with the latter starting this season in strong form. Runner up in the CiCLE Classic, McWilliam then led a team one-two in the East Cleveland Classic round of the Lloyds National Road Series, which will boost her confidence when stage two of the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women uses a similar finish in Saltburn-by-the-Sea.

Lidl-Trek

One of the most successful teams in the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women despite their relatively short history, having won the race overall twice thanks to Lizzie Deignan (2021) and Elisa Longo Borghini (2022). Deignan is joined by last year’s runner up Anna Henderson and fellow Brit Izzy Sharpe, while former world champion Elisa Balsamo and Clara Copponi are both recent stage winners in the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women.

Liv AlUla Jayco

One of only two teams to have raced in every edition of the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women, with five stage wins to their name, most recently with Ruby Roseman-Gannon in 2024. Teammate Letizia Paternoster came close to winning the opening stage in 2024, so is one to watch in the sprints, while Georgia Baker won the 2022 Commonwealth Games road race in Warwick.

Movistar Team

The famous Spanish team joined the women’s peloton in 2018. A new signing for 2025 is time trial specialist Marlen Reusser who joins a pair of all-rounders that have previously gone well in the Lloyds Tour of Britain in Lianne Lippert and Floortje Mackaij. Movistar boast a trio of British riders in Carys Lloyds, Claire Steels, and junior world road race and time trial champion Cat Ferguson.

Smurfit Westrock Cycling Team

The new name for the Pro-Noctis team who made their race debut last year, the squad have a longer history having enjoyed much success on the British scene over the past four years. With new backing for 2025 from an Irish packaging company, that success has continued with Lucy Harris winning the CiCLE Classic and Lucy Gadd a stage and overall of The Peaks two-day race.

Team Picnic PostNL

A long-standing part of the peloton and another successful team in the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women. Team Picnic PostNL will have plenty of home support this June with a quartet of British riders, headlined by double British road race champion Pfeiffer Georgi (who took both titles at stage two finish location Saltburn-by-the-Sea), while Abi Smith will be on home roads in North Yorkshire on day one.

Team SD Worx - Protime

The world’s number one ranked team and by far the most successful squad in Lloyds Tour of Britain Women history. One of only two outfits to have competed in every edition to date, they have won the race overall on three occasions, most recently last year with Lotte Kopecky, when they also took three of the four stage wins. In Lorena Wiebes they have the most successful stage winner in the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women with six victories, most recently at Warrington in 2024.

Team Visma | Lease a Bike

A relatively new team formed in 2021, Team Visma | Lease a Bike return for their second Lloyds Tour of Britain Women. Winner of the inaugural edition in 2014, Marianne Vos, is one of a number of big names in their ranks alongside 2025 Paris - Roubaix winner Pauline Ferrand-Prévot, while up-and-coming British teammate Imogen Wolff looks to make her mark in her first full season with the team.

UAE Team ADQ

A strong start to the season saw UAE Team ADQ topping the world rankings, with the squad now boasting former Lloyds Tour of Britain winner Elisa Longo Borghini. Among her teammates are British riders Elynor Bäckstedt and Lizzie Holden, while Ireland’s Lara Gillespie has been in sensational form at the start of her first full year with the team, taking eight top 10 finishes, five of them in UCI Women’s WorldTour events, by the end of March.

Uno-X Mobility

A primarily Scandinavian team, Uno-X Mobility boast the current national road race champions of Norway, Finland, and Denmark in their squad. Among the non-Scandinavian contingent is home favourite and Olympic gold medalist Elinor Barker, who finished just outside the top 10 in last year’s Lloyds Tour of Britain Women, and Maria Giulia Confalonieri, who with ten top 10 stage finishes in the race is overdue a win.
