The National Senior Track Championships return to Manchester Velodrome on 20-24 October 2009. With the international Track season beginning the following week with the first World Cup event, at the same venue, a top-class turn-out of GB's leading riders is guaranteed.

TUESDAY 20 OCTOBER (Kilo & 500m TT)
A great opening evening was dominated by Victoria Pendleton who slotted straight back into form at the start of a long winter season, winning the 500m TT in a world-class time. WEDNESDAY 21 OCTOBER (Men's Scratch Race, Women's Sprint & 3000m Pursuit)
The second day of competition saw the focus switch to the Women's Sprint and although Victoria Pendleton took the title again, the was a lot of interest in the semi-final clash between two up and coming stars. THURSDAY 22 OCTOBER (Men's Sprint & 4000m Pursuit, Women's Scratch Race)Day 3 of the competition and the programme is dominated by the Men's Sprint and the return of Chris Hoy, who looked right back on top of his game, taking the Sprint Title. FRIDAY 23 OCTOBER (Men's Points Race & Team Sprint, Women's Points Race & Team Sprint ) Commanding performances in the points competitions from Lizzie Armitstead and Chris Newton, while in the Men's Team Sprint, Mssrs Staff, Hoy, Kenny and Edgar are in awesome world class form. SATURDAY 24 OCTOBER (Men's Keirin & Team Pursuit, Women's Keirin & Team Pursuit ) Victory in the Women's Madison for Dani King and Alex Greenfield, while Hoy and Pendleton stamped their authority on the keirin.
