Welsh Cycling are pleased to announce the upcoming dates of coaching and leadership courses throughout 2021.
We are pleased to be able to provide an update around Welsh Cycling Coach Education moving forward into the summer of 2021.
Undertaking courses over the past 12 months has been difficult if not impossible due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Particular challenges have included limited numbers allowed indoors, venue availability/closures and the 2 meter rule. This has meant we have been unable to run courses since the start of the pandemic.
We are now however, pleased to confirm we are now able to restart Coach Education in May. These will be restricted numbers and carefully managed in line with the up-to-date Welsh Government Guidance. We are in the process or putting an additional Level 1 in at Maindy.

Funding for your group
Affiliated clubs and groups may be eligible to apply for Sport Wales funding which will cover the cost of the coaching awards. To find out if your club is eligible please contact your local Cycling Development Officer.
